Develop regional operational guidelines that will support safe and effective interagency incident management practices.

 8. Station access methods – as related to move up companies.
 9. Resource naming and typing in operational area.

The workload will be done in phases based on priorities (current priorities noted with an asterisk). The first priority is to develop an interim guideline in preparation of the sharing of Chief Officers across zone boundaries. Training will be offered (dates and locations are not yet set) throughout November.

There are currently 18 draft policies that are being refined. All will be based on NFPA, FireScope, and NIMS standards to the extent possible. Where standards are open to interpretation or are contested, the group will pick one method that best reflects current what is most widely done in the county.
